Data Request
Last updated June 2026
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you, export, correct, or delete the personal data PIE holds about you. If you’re in the EU/EEA or UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), the rights below are guaranteed — but we honor these requests for everyone.
Your rights
- Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Portability — your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Correction — fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — erase your data, subject to legal and tax retention limits.
- Opt out — object to or restrict certain processing. PIE does not sell personal information.
How to make a request
Email privacy@pieapp.io from the address on your PIE account with the subject line “Data Request”, and tell us which right you want to exercise. If you have an account, you can also start access, export, and deletion requests from Settings → Privacy in the app.
What happens next
- We’ll confirm your request and may need to verify your identity to protect your account.
- We respond within the timeframe required by law — generally 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA) — and will tell you if we need more time.
- You can authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf where the law allows.
A note on deletion
Some records — for example, completed payout and tax records — must be retained for a period required by law even after a deletion request. We’ll delete or anonymize everything else. If you connected Instagram, you can also use the dedicated Instagram data deletion flow.
